Images from Trip
Our first trip to S/E Haiti has been completed. We started a soccer field in Cascade Pichon in honor of Quincy. We had 5 meetings with local communes (facilitated by Heart to Heart International) to talk about possible fields or equipment in their areas. We have four more visits planned. There really aren't words to describe this trip. To go that far to express love to people in honor of Jesus, in honor of Quincy, was a highlight of my life. And to do it with the friends in the images below... well... again, no words. Take whatever you think it would mean to me... then multiply by six and you might get close.
the whole group (except for shay) at the field site.
one of the many awesome girls football matches we were privileged to take in.
evan (my youngest) and i helping to clear out the rocks on the field.
ha. by the end of the day, we were all so tired that many of us were sitting down and just throwing the rocks.
couldn't be more proud of my family.

director, christophe holding up one of the football jerseys we were honored to give to some of the girl players we met.
how do you put into words what it's like to watch these girls play...? and some of them be wearing brand new jerseys? crazy.
the sun coming out of the clouds above the school that mnu and heart to heart built recently. quincy's name is painted on the rafters.
