Love Haiti initially began as a way to honor the life of Quincy Foster. Following a transformative trip to the beautiful country of Haiti, Quincy made plans to become a medical missionary. Unfortunately, on January 1, 2015, during her junior year of college, an ice storm and an oncoming truck changed those plans.
To honor her life, family and friends decided build a soccer field in Haiti. While there, connections were made and dreams where shared and a non-profit emerged. When the organization began, it was called LQVE (Love spelled with a Q), in honor of Quincy. While we have since changed our official name to Love Haiti, Quincy will always and forever be our origin story. We can’t thank her enough for introducing us to our Haitian family.
